Andrew's story
Andrew grew up in Old Harbour, Jamaica, and started learning carpentry at a young age, by shadowing his neighbour who owned a furniture-making business. Soon enough, Andrew was allowed to help after school, and a passion was born.

At the age of 20, Andrew came to England, where he settled in Brixton to be near other family members in the area. He spent most of his career working with Matt Brigham at Marmalade Badger, a highly reputable South London based interior construction business. Under Matt, Andrew learned valuable skills and built a strong reputation for his craftsmanship and eye for detail.

When Matt sadly passed away in 2020, Andrew became a sole trader and has since built up his own business, retaining many of the valued clients that he and Matt had worked with over the years.

The final job that Matt and Andrew worked on together was at Sally's flat in Brixton. Sally had engaged them to install a new bathroom and kitchen, so after a challenging few months, Andrew finished the job alone and did such a beautiful job that he and Sally are now happily married and live together in Brixton!
